Few days after the protest in Auchi Polytechnic that led to the destruction of properties running into millions of naira, the school has set up an eight man panel to investigate the immediate and remote causes of the fracas that engulfed the school.
A statement by the Public Relations Officer of the school, Mustapha Oshiobugie said the panel has two weeks to submit its report adding that the school remained closed for both part time and full time students of the school.
The rector however said that the polytechnic remained closed indefinately as investigation is still ongoing to unravel the circumstances that led to the destruction of the institutions properties.
