Temple Run In Auchi As Lectures And Staffs Flee For Safety

It was like Temple Run in Auchi Yesterday as Staff of the school Thursday deserted their offices and ran for safety, following a rumour scare of another attack on the institution.

The workers fled from their offices following rumour of a possibly attack on the institution.

Pupils of Auchi polytechnic staff school were not left out as parents rushed to pick their children from the school, which is located within the campus.

However, security operatives were on ground to forestall any further attack, as security were beefed up at every point in the school to maintain law and order.

The Acting Rector of the polytechnic, Jafaru Buraimoh confirmed the incident at a news conference, allayed fears of a second attack on the institution.

Buraimoh dismissed the possibility of such an attack, assuring member of staff of their safety at work.

He said that adequate security arrangement have been put in place to forestall any attack in the institution.

“The speculation of an impending attack on the institution is unfolded.
“The management is on top of the situation to ensure safety of staffs.

“The polytechnic staff primary school and secondary school remain in session, and parents are advise to disregard any information to the contrary as adequate security have been put in place for them,” he said.
