The Akwa Ibom State University, AKSU Matriculation Ceremony will hold on Friday, 10th June, 2016, at the Main Campus, Ikot Akpaden by 10.00 a.am.
On this note, all the fresh Students who are yet to complete their registration processes are hereby directed to complete them and submit all the requested documents to the various academic units in the institution on or before July 10th, 2016.
Failure to complete all your registration might see you thrown out of the school.
Upon matriculation, you will be seen as a bona-fide student of the Institution.
All FRESHERS who have been screened and cleared are hereby informed to pay the sum of Two Thousand Naira N2,000.00) only, for hiring of the academic gowns for the matriculation ceremony.
Payment should be made at the Bursary Department and receipts obtained, and presented to the respective Faculty Officers for issuance of the academic gowns.
All the matriculating students should take note that the academic gowns, must be returned to the Faculty Officers after the matriculation ceremony latest by
Monday, June 13, 2016 , unfailingly.
Students who fails to return their academic gown as required will attract a penalty surcharge of N500.00 (Five hundred Naira) only, per day from Tuesday, June 14, 2016.
Matriculation students of the Obio Akpa Campus are hereby, informed that buses will be made available to convey them to the Main campus at Ikot Akpaden for the ceremony.
The buses will depart Obio Akpa campus by 7.30. a.m. prompt. Hence, the students are advised to be ready for movement at the stipulated time.
