No departmental cut off mark for AAU 2016/2017 admission - SUG DOI


The Student Union Government, SUG, Director of Information,DOI,  comrade Cletus Oribhabor has debunk claims of departmental cut of mark been paraded on social media.

He said that the university management of Ambrose Alli University has not by any means release any departmental cutoff marks.

He further said that the management is still silent on admission matters for the 2016/2017 academic session and has not released any departmental cutoff marks in any of the departments.

In a related statement  by the Vice Chancellor Prof Ignatius Onimanwo,
also debunk the rumour, saying that admission will be given to the departments listed below as regards the lost  of accreditation.
Building, architecture, microbiology, biochemistry, etc.

Meanwhile the management is curently working out modalities through which cutoff marks will be released as soon as possible in all the departments.

The office of the S.U.G Director of Information through the management will provide further information about admissions and other necessary information you may need, to process admission and aspirants should beware of fraudsters on social media, comrade Cletus said.

AAU Reschedules Post UTME/ Admission Screening Exercise 2016/17

Ambrose Alli University, (AAU) Ekpoma Reschedules Post UTME/Admission Screening Exercise for the 2016/2017 Academic Session.

This is to inform all the prospective students of Ambrose Alli University that the admission screening exercise earlier scheduled to hold from the 4th to 9th July, 2016 has been postponed.

AAU New Admission Screening Date
The new dates for the admission exercise are Monday 11th July to Friday 15th July 2016.

Prospective applicants should take note that this exercise is for those with Credentials/Results. Meanwhile, candidates with awaiting result will be screened at a later date.

We regret any inconvenience this development might have caused the affected candidates.

After the meeting held today between the school hostel governors and SUG Vice President, to decide when School Hostel Hall Week is to commence.

They concluded that hall week will start first week of July 6th, 2016 to end July 9th, 2016.

Step-By-Step Procedure On AAU post ume Registration

Post UTME portal has just been opened for online post UTME registration. You must create Kofa account before you register your post UTME form online, if you don’t have an email or gmail
account please go and open one because you need it to create kofa account for your registration.

Issues Of Purchasing Post UTME Form.

Please, if the banks in your state are selling the form you can purchase the form there, if you know any cafe that are selling the form please get it there if you can use your ATM or Interswitch use it to purchase your post UTME form.

Another option is this, if your state is far you can send somebody in Ekpoma to help you purchase the e-trazact pin at any Bank in Ekpoma

Then the registration could be done online anywhere so the person will just text the e- trazact pin to you and all you have do is to login any at cafe in wherever you are.

The e-trazact pin is about 24 digits

NOTE: Don’t give your money to strangers to help you purchase the post UTME form, is not everybody that you meet online are really ready to help you, most of them are after your money. Once they give your money you will not hear from them again.

Don’t meet scammers for help, if you have someone in school that can help you, meet the person, the person should be a family friend, brother or sister or a friend you
know in person.

ASUU, AAU Chapter yet to decide on proposed strike

According Cletus Oribhabor the
SUG Director of Information the meeting held by the Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU, Ambrose Ali University,AAU, chapter at around 10am yesterday has not yielded the desired result.

ASUU (AAU Chapter) were unable to come to a conclusion whether or not to embark on strike after series of talks which lasted hours.

However, the School management are trying to convince the aggrieved  lectures not to embark on strike but ASUU insisted on embarking on strike, pending when their request are attensed to.

The meeting has been adjourned for today wednesday 22nd July 2016 for finally conclusion.

All You Need To Know About AAU 2016/2017 Post UTME/Direct Entry Screening Exercise

All 2016/2017 UTME candidates who applied to Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma as institution of First Choice, with a UTME score of 180 and above are invited to attend a screening exercise in the University on the days stated below:

Screening Time-Table:
The screening exercise for the various faculties is scheduled to take place from Monday, 4th July, 2016 to Saturday 9th July, 2016 starting from 7.30am each day.

Note: The Venue and Time for the screening exercise will be available on submission of the candidates online application form.

Method of Application:
Applicants are required to pay for the Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma Screening exercise online application form at a fee of N2,000.00 (Two thousand Naira) only using their ATM debit cards on Interswitch or purchase an eTranzact PIN (Payment Voucher) from any of the under listed Banks Nation Wide.

Procedure for Online Application:
Candidates are advised to apply online athttps://aaue.waeup.org using either e-Tranzact PIN purchased from the banks stated above or ATM debit cards on Interswitch.

All such candidates must upload their coloured passport photograph and scanned copies of all relevant certificates/documents to the Portal.

Candidates should preview and confirm that the passport photograph is properly uploaded as no complaint of wrong or blank picture will be entertained after submission of forms. Candidates are to print out a copy of the application form with their passport photograph for presentation along with other documents on the screening dates stated above. The screening guide is available for download on completion of the application process.

Direct Entry:
All Direct Entry candidates who applied to JAMB for admission and chose Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma as Institution of First Choice are also required to complete the online application form for their screening exercise. All such candidates must upload scanned copies of all relevant certificates/documents to the Portal.

*Screening exercise for Direct Entry (DE) candidates is scheduled to take place from Tuesday, 2nd August, 2016 to Friday 5th August, 2016 from 9.00am each day.

Note: The Venue for the screening exercise will be available on submission of the candidates online application form.

Please be informed that there shall be no Direct Entry into Medicine and Law.

All Direct Entry candidates should follow the online application procedure as stated above and also obtain the forms via ATM debit cards on Interswitch or eTranzact PIN (Payment Voucher) at a fee of N2,000.00 (Two thousand Naira) only from any of the designated Banks, (The fee excludes other charges as stated below).

Note: All candidates (both UTME and Direct Entry) are to note that;

Screening guidelines: N2,000.00 (Two thousand naira) only, Technology fee: N 1,000.00 (One thousand naira) only and bank charges, will be charged at the point of purchase of the forms online via ATM debit cards on Interswitch or eTranzact PIN (Payment Voucher).
All names should be written in full when completing the online application form as no initials shall be entertained.

Duration of Application:
Application forms for both UTME and Direct Entry (DE) candidates will be available online for completion and submission from Tuesday 21st June, 2016 to Midnight Sunday 3rd July, 2016.

Advice:
Candidates should check the this website and Portal at https://aaue.waeup.org regularly for further details on the application/admission procedure.

Warning!:
Any candidate who fails to appear for the screening exercise automatically forfeits his/her eligibility for consideration in the 2016/2017 academic session’s admission exercise.

Anyone caught impersonating will be handed over to the Police and the candidate so impersonated will be automatically ‘disqualified’.

Reminder: Production of Identity Card commence fully at Ambrose Alli University

All students of Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma – Regular, Part -Time, Diploma, Foundation, Sandwich and Post Graduate students are hereby reminded that the production of Identity Card has commenced fully at Ambrose Alli University Printing Press, along Main Library Road.

It is not good for students to have two types of identity cards, therefore, those students with the White Identity Cards are advised to go to Ambrose Alli University Printing Press to change theirs to the one with security codes as issued by Ambrose Alli University Printing Press.

Consequently, Students are advised to quickly take advantage of the present window of opportunity to renew or go for a fresh Identity Card at the University Printing Press.

All Bonafide students of Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma are advised to take this notice as urgent and very serious.

AAU To Carry Out Regularization of student with jamb registration number



According to AAUXCLUCIVE the Management of Ambrose Ali University, Ekpoma has passed the following information:

This Is to inform all student of the Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma from 100-600 level that they are expected to print out their JAMB admission letter online from JAMB website.

However,student who are on able to print out there admission letter online from jamb website are expected to pay the prescribed fee to account no 1010875697 at ZENITH BANK PLC,EKPOMA and there after report to the principal assistant registrar,Admission and verification for further directives.

For the avoidance of doubt, for the avoidance of doubt,the registrar (JAMB)has emphatically stated that this period of grace shall end on the 24th June,2016

It is therefore,expected that affected students will avail themselves of this last opportunity for their own good
